Scope
This policy applies to every product sold by Belmont Peptides and forms part of our terms of service.
Status of the products
Our products are synthetic peptides and related research chemicals. They are not approved by Health Canada, carry no Drug Identification Number or Natural Product Number, and are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, natural health products or dietary supplements. They have not been evaluated for safety or efficacy in any organism.
Permitted use
Products are supplied solely for in-vitro laboratory research by individuals and organizations qualified to handle research chemicals. Permitted uses include analytical, biochemical and cell-based research.
Prohibited use
Products must not be used in or on humans or animals, for any diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic or food purpose, or in any manner contrary to applicable law. They must not be resold or supplied to others for any such purpose.
Our commitments
We publish the manufacturer's certificate of analysis for each lot, ship in appropriate packaging, and refuse orders that we believe are intended for a prohibited use. We do not provide information about administration to humans or animals.
