Solution preparation calculator
Work out the concentration of a reconstituted vial and the volume needed to draw a given amount of peptide. Volumes are also shown as units on a U-100 scale (100 units = 1 mL), the graduation printed on most laboratory insulin-style syringes.

How the numbers are derived
Concentration is the peptide mass divided by the diluent volume (mg ÷ mL). The draw volume is the amount wanted divided by that concentration. Units on a U-100 scale are simply millilitres × 100. The calculator assumes the lyophilized cake contributes negligible volume, which holds for the vial sizes in our catalogue.
For reconstitution technique and diluent choice, see the research centre. To buy diluent, see bacteriostatic water.
